So I would like to start this with how quick my order got to me was meant to be here Monday the 26th but came on Saturday the 24th so really impressed with that. Well packaged to keep it safe in transportation. Hey potential Buyer!
Get a carry case with foam insert for the magnet and a big bucket from your hardware store for the items you find!
Bear with me, I am slightly Autistic, so I will review everything.
So first the package, everything was well packed up.
The hook, it is non magnetic alloy, wrapped in packing paper, the hooks have plastic covers. It is very light but makes a robust impression, it does have a good opening angle.
A pack of super grippy Magnetar branded gloves, they keep your hands clean and prevent the rope slipping through your hands.
I suggest you get another pair for you helper. Be cause fishing with friends is more fun.
20 Meters super sturdy rope wich has a magnetic eye loop, inside of which is the carabiner, wich is non magnetic.
I don’t think it will ever brake on you. I attached colored tape every meter so I know how deep the water is and I got myself a small buoy from my boat incase I loose it in deep water.
I suggest you get a second rope for the hook.
But you can also just switch out the magnet for the hook.
Wich I did on the first fishing trip.

Now this is thing is a MUST!
It already saved my magnet on the first trip.
I can’t believe how scratched and banged up it looks after just one hour.
And the Magnet of course.
I thought the magnet would be bigger, because it comfortably fits in my hand, but is it quite heavy and it really is very magnetic.
The attraction reach of 14 cm appears to be accurate.
When I assembled the eyelet we where laughing, gasping for air, because I could hardy get my screw driver off it. It is comically strong.
And on the first try, I pulled out a construction lamp, filled with mud and water. A children’s buggy sun covering, soaked in mud and water, at least 10kg in weight.
I also learned that if an object is deeply stuck in mud, but magnetic, that you can still get it if you attach the magnet to it and bop it up and down so it becomes loose.
Oh and one last thing on assembly:
Do absolutely apply the threadlocker shipped with it!
24 HOURS cure time.
If you are like me, a risk taker, wait at least one hour! Seriously, wait.
And once you have it applied, get a screw driver and first hand turn the nut as tight as you can. Then you will see it cannot move further because of the eyelet. But you can get the nut over it at least once with pipe pliers.
Then you will have locked the nut, it cannot move back due to pressure from the rubber ring.
But you will need help.
Order of assembly:
Screw, magnet, magnet cover, rubber, thread locker, eyelet, thread locker, nut.
All in all, this was a great purchase and I had so much fun that it paid for itself already on the first fishing trip.
